The City of Diamondhead plans to annex a portion of Section 28 in Township 3 South, Range 18 West, which is currently in Hot Spring County (see map above)
The City was incorporated on March 1, 2024, and has fulfilled all requirements set by the Arkansas Department of Transformation and Shared Services as per A.C.A § 14-40-101 on May 22, 2025.
The proposed annexation will be decided by a vote of residents from both Diamondhead Garland County side and the affected area in Hot Spring County during the March 3, 2026 election.
